Walt HetfieldWalt Hetfield has been the music teacher at Rehoboth Elementary School since 1993. A professional musician and guitarist for over twenty years, Walt has been in many bands including the Sideminders, Key North, Little Sister, Prairie Dog and Phaydrah. Walt has a bachelor of science degree in Music Education from West Chester University and a masters degree in instructional delivery from Wilmington College. Walt also has been published as writer in Guitar Player and Relix magazine. Born in Scenic Plainfield N.J. Walt lives in Lewes, Delaware with his two young daughters Grace and Sophie.
Colleen ClarkDubbed a "guitar wonder" by the Delaware Coast Press, Colleen Clark has been playing at various venues in the Cape Henlopen region for almost ten years. Also an accomplished drummer, she has performed with the Channel Surfers, Little Sister, Phaydrah, and Still Life. In addition to being Cape Henlopen valedictorian in 2002, she was honored by Governor Minner for being one of the top high school students in Delaware. Currently is a double major in mathematics and music at Notre Dame University, Colleen returns for her fourth year as Mr. Hetfield's assistant. "Colleen is a key ingredient in the camps yearly success", says Hetfield. |

Amanda NovocinAmanda Novocin has studied music with Mr. Hetfield since she was in the third grade. Currently completing her junior year at Cape Henlopen High school, Amanda will be helping Mr. Hetfield and Colleen Clark at this year's camp. A three year camper, Amanda plays flute and guitar and made her debut opening for Love Seed Mama jump when she was ten. Over the past eight years she has performed as a member of Phaydrah and Miscellaneous. She has assisted with the Rehoboth Elementary School summer band program for the past two summers. Amanda also has a thriving private teaching practice. A veteran of a number of school drama productions, this past winter she was named Miss Teen Sussex County. |
